After being part of the Metropolis grid for more than 4 years, Linkwater has become fully independent and is now hosting it's own grid services. While Metropolis has been a good home, recent developments in that grid combined with the current hiatus that Linkwater is going through make it more cost-effective to host the grid services as part of the Linkwater server park.

The biggest change is that the Linkwater regions will now be available on the hgurl hg.linkwater.org:8002, instead of via the Metropolis hypergrid.
